Phone calls can be made at the two post offices in Sapa but for postal services, it's better to hang on and post things from Hanoi as it is much faster.

HCMC's French-style main post office

with its glass canopy and iron frame, is right next lo Noire Dame Cathedral. Built between 1886 and 1891, it is the largest post office in Vietnam and worth visiting just for its architecture.

There are small post - office kiosks all over the city that do the basics. Go to the main domestic and international post office in the event that you need to do anything complicated.
